I'm reading All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy (for the second time) - a wonderfully lyrical American novel in the classic tradition of 'lighting out for the country'. This time to Mexico on horseback. I can imagine writing a selection of poems/travel piece inspired by the landscape and ruminations on life/death in the novel.
